Zac Chisholm

Zac is our Promotions Director, a Race Director & Clinic Instructor. He brings lots of enthusiasm to our group and is usually the one that tackles the tedious tasks that have to be done to make an event successful. Zac is also our "trail-blazer". Rest assured that if you encounter any terribly thick bush or near impassable mud during one of our races, Zac has already been through it to be sure that it is possible.

Now 35, he was raised Otisville and lives in Manistee, Michigan. Although, some (including him) think he hails more from his adoptive country of Sweden. Zac partook in competition since about kindergarten, delving into nearly every sport imaginable including innebandy (Swedish floor ball), culminating in 10 varsity letters in high school. His racing strength is endurance resulting from his background of wrestling and running. 

Zac has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University (spending his final year of college abroad in Stockholm, Sweden) and remains a proud Spartan to date. He now works as a process engineer in Manistee. He and his wife Maranda, who you are also likely to see by his side at the races, are the proud parents of two young boys.
