2008 KMMR RECAP - Not necessarily your typical Sunday morning in February, temperatures had fallen into single digits with windchills well below 0 by daybreak. That didn't stop fifty some participants from showing up at Pine Knob to take part in the Michigan Kahtoola Mountain Run. The challenging course ran up, down and around all parts of Pine Knob Ski Area. Runs were 4k or 8k, with more than half the fiield choosing to make that second loop for the full 8k. Despite the forbidding temperatures everyone seemed to have a great time and most hung around for the post race prizes. Thanks to Pine Knob for hosting the run, Kahtoola for the major sponsorship and prizes and sponsors Bridgedale and Innov-8 for putting up great prizes as well. This run also helped raise over $250 for the Mountain Fund.
