2005 KAHTOOLA WINTER TRAIL RUN SERIES
Infiterra Sports is proud to have hosted the first ever Kahtoola Winter Trail Run Series. The series helped to raise $600 for the Macomb County Special Olympics. Check out the results below!

Stony Creek Recap - The skies were clear, the snow was deep, and the temperatures were below freezing, but 81 brave soles endured the conditions to participate in this first event in this new series. Jules Windfeild won the 5 plus-mile event in an impressive 53:36. For the Females, Kellee Lemcke endured the conditions and tamed the course in 1:08:18. Thanks to all these courageous participants for coming out and helping us to raise money Special Olympics of Macomb County. When the series finishes up in March, we will let all of you know how much your running efforts allowed us to raise for the charity.
Island Lake Recap - The temperature was a little above freezing for the second race in the series. The Island Lake trails proved to be flatter and faster then the Stony Creek Run, but their was still a good deal of slipping and sliding in icy winter conditions, definitely a good day to have on a pair of Kahtoola Traction Footwear. Roman Krzyzanowski bested the field in time of 39:15. Amy Masternak was the top female finisher, completing the course in a time of 46:51. Thanks again to everyone that came out and enjoyed a great afternoon of running.
Pinckney Recap - Runners got out in shorts and T-shirts for this exciting run. There was snow all around and the calendar showed early March, but you would not have known by the beautiful temperatures for our third and final run in the in the Kahtoola Winter Trail Run Series. Ryan DeCook was the overall winner of this the hilly and snow covered trail run in an impressive 31:36. For the Females, Amy Masternak covered the course in 40:23 while winner her second trail run in the series. Based on the success of the series, it sure looks like it will be back again next year. Thanks to all the participated!
Now the series has come to close, we have been able to go over the final numbers and we are happy to announce that the series was able to raise $600 for the Macomb County Special Olympics.
