2004 "GOPHER THE GOLD" 5k CHARITY RUN
Infiterra Sports was proud to manage the first ever Gopher the Gold 5k Charity run that was held Sunday May 2, 2004 at Metro Beach Metro Park.

The skies where cloudy and the wind was whipping, but 32 brave soles endured the conditions to participate in this charity run. Many others came out and did the accompanying one mile walk and kids run. Thanks to these courageous participants and the many other donators, the event was able to raise over $1,200.00 for the Special Olympics of Macomb County. If all goes well, we hope for this to become and annual event, so we hope to see you all again next year. We promise the weather conditions can't any worse!
