CLINICS
One of Infiterra Sports main goals is to help promote and grow the exciting sport of adventure racing. We believe that one excellent way to do that is to offer low cost, high quality clinics that you can use to further you adventure racing skills. Many clinics are RSVP so please check the details below and contact the event coordinator if RSVP is required. Many of our clinics have a limit on the number of participants, so RSVP early. The cost associated with the clinics helps us cover instruction materials, facility, and equipment. Infiterra Sports strives to arrange the best instruction available and works to keep the cost at a minimum. We provide all clinics at break even or minimal profit to the company because we want you to be a better racer!

- If you are looking for hands-on Nav Clinics, we don't currently have any planned, but check out SMOC at www.michigano.org for their meet dates, they are a great way to practice for all levels and they are very affordable.

Basic & Advanced Navigation For Adventure Racing Clinic
Date: Thursday, February 21st, 2008
Location: REI Troy
Time: 6:30pm ~ 8:00pm
Cost: Free
This clinic will cover all the basics for navigation in AR. The clinic will be a casual open question format with some hands on demonstration. We will cover the basics of topographic maps as well as compass basics. At this clinic we also add in some more advanced topics and UTM plotting if we see a desire form the clinic participants. Navigation is key to every adventure race. Come out to this clinic and learn the basics or some new tricks before your next race. For this clinic, please bring a base-plate compass. Pen and paper are also recommended.

How To Get Started in Adventure Racing Clinic

This will be a general adventure racing overview clinic. We will cover everything a new or beginner racer will need to know to prepare for a race. The clinic will be in a casual setting right at the REI store. This clinic will provide an open forum for you to get your questions answered. Even if you are seasoned racer, you can always learn new tips, so come out and join us at REI. Support adventure racing and support our sponsor store.

Navigation For Adventure Racing Clinic

Adventure Rage and Primal Quest Recap Clinic

Location: REI Ann Arbor
Time: 6:30pm ~ 8:00pm
Cost: Free
This clinic will recap the biggest race in Michigan, the Infiterra Sports Adventure Rage and the biggest adventure race in the United States, Primal Quest. See results, review routes and hear from local racers who participated in both events. This will be a great clinic for both beginners and advanced racers.
