MICHELOB ULTRA POINT SERIES
Congratulations to the 2005 Michelob Ultra Point Series Champions - Team Northern Michigan Endurance comprised of Justin Andre and Aaron Litzner.
The Northern Michigan Endurance Team certainly earned and deserves the title of 2005 series champions as they placed 1st overall in four of the five series races. A very respectable 3rd place finish in the remaining race made their overall point total of 97 an outstanding achievement, leaving quit a gap between them and second place. For their 1st place finish, they received $1,000 in cash along with Salomon Shoes and other prizes. Rounding out the top three teams and also receiving cash and prizes where 2nd place Team Ambush Adventure Racing and 3rd place Team Peckerhead Racing. The race between 2nd and 3rd place was much closer, with only one point separating the teams in the final standings.
Teams Blue Bayou and GRAAR took fourth and fifth places respectively. These top five teams accounted for the bulk of the competitive teams to enter the 2005 series and therefore received all the prizing. Of the other teams that registered, no other team accumulated more then five points. In awarding prizes to these top five teams, we gave out $2700 in cash along with well over $1000 worth of other prizes. Infiterra Sports was happy to see these top five teams duke it out and earn their prizes with solid results in the series races.
Below are the point totals for these top five teams. We only had a handful of other teams registered for the series beyond these five teams. All of these other teams only earned one or two points. If you have a question about how your team fared, please contact Luke. Infiterra Sports enjoyed bringing racers the 2005 point series. However, we feel that due to the nature of the sport and the lack of interest in 2005, we will not be bringing this type of series back in 2006.
*Note that at the awards ceremony after the Adventure Rage, we failed to recognize Team Peckerhead Racing as the third place series finishers. This was on oversight on our part and all prizing and recognition has been corrected.

Infiterra Sports would like to thank River Rats AR for being a part of the 2005 series. A big thanks also goes out to Michelob Ultra, Salomon, Moosejaw, and the many other sponsors that made the series possible. Although there will not be a point series coming back in 2006, you can look forward to a fun and exciting series of Michigan Adventure Races from Infiterra Sports, River Rats AR and others.
2004 Standings:
Congratulations to the 2004 Michelob Ultra Point Series Champions - Team Absolute Endo comprised of Andy and Jessica Yaksic.
Team Absolute Endo certainly earned and deserves the title of series champions as they swept the series winning all four events and accumulating a maximum score of 90 points. For their efforts and fast racing they received a prize package worth well over $1,000. Rounding out the top three teams and also receiving prizes where 2nd place Team No Time For Hugging Trees / Blue Bayou and 3rd place team Attention Deficit / Like Viagra - Up All Night. The race between 2nd and 3rd place was much closer, with the final outcome not being decided until the end of the Adventure Rage Race.
Team No Time For Hugging Trees / Blue Bayou was made up of a combination of Brian Matthews, Joy Strawser, and Diane Hutchinson.
Team Attention Deficit / Like Viagra - Up All Night was comprised of Mark Spencer and Lori Smith.
